To serve as a convener of environmental health networks and campaigns on health and chemicals; to help guide and stimulate increased foundation support for environmental health issues; to participate in a coalition of state and national organizations working to ensure full implementation of the international Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants; and to work with domestic campaigns to stimulate efforts to phase out persistent chemicals such as brominated flame retardants.
