To bring Northeast state legislators together to raise awareness, build support, and foster regional collaboration in support of the Transportation and Climate Initiative.

To bring the voice of transit advocates to ensure that Connecticut engages in and is ultimately a formal signatory to the Transportation and Climate Initiative.

To accelerate adoption of electric vehicles in New England states through expanded electrification programs with utilities, strong state policies, and expanded workplace charging.

To accelerate deployment of plug-in electric vehicles and infrastructure in Vermont.

To deploy business and investor leaders in Massachusetts and New Hampshire to defend and advance climate and clean energy policies and promote the Transportation and Climate Initiative.

To ensure that Vermont implements policies that significantly and equitably reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the state’s transportation sector through the Transportation Climate Initiative, and lay the foundation for complementary policies that provide clean transportation options for Vermonters.

To work with Northeast states, charging companies, auto manufacturers, and dealers to accelerate deployment of electric vehicles and charging infrastructure in the Northeast.

To improve state policy for vehicle and thermal electrification.

To enhance municipal support for the Transportation Climate Initiative across New England and the mid-Atlantic.

To promote a Northeast cap-and-invest policy for transportation that can serve as a model for other regions, and advance vehicle electrification while reducing inequitable exposure to pollution from transportation.
