To: (1) sustain New Englands role as a national clean energy leader by strengthening, implementing, and defending state energy efficiency, renewable energy, and distributed generation policies; (2) strengthen the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative for in-region emission reductions and as a tool to meet EPA Clean Power Plan standards; (3) promote policies that put a price on carbon; (4) advance reforms of the regional energy grid and articulate new utility business models; and (5) promote electrification of the transportation system and deployment of electric vehicles.
