To support CLF’s participation in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, which seeks to substantially reduce global warming pollution from power plants in nine northeastern states from current levels by 2020. CLF will seek to convince governors to adopt strong rules in each New England state that advance the policy objectives of energy advocates, especially regarding consumer costs, energy efficiency, and carbon offsets.
