To launch the Science Links project, which aims to improve the flow of information about environmental issues between scientists and policymakers. With an initial focus on acid rain and a subsequent expansion to other air emissions from power plants, Hubbard Brook’s research foundation will make scientific information more readily usable for nonscientists who are determining environmental policies and, at the same time, facilitate scientists’ involvement in public discussions about environmental issues.
