To educate the public about the fundamental changes which are being proposed in the nation’s basic environmental and public health statutes; to increase broadcast and print media coverage of the debate and editorial discussion of the issues; to raise funds from grassroots contributions which will enable the participating enviornmental organizations to expand their public education and advocacy work on these issues.
