To survey various at-risk sectors of the public in the six New England states to understand the level of awareness of state agencies’ public health advisories about the dangers of consuming excessive amounts of mercury-contaminated fish, and to use this information to develop a network of health and environmental organizations that will both disseminate public health materials and provide a voice in the policy world for reduced mercury emission.
