In conjunction with the American Lung Association of Metropolitan Chicago and the Ohio Environmental Council, to begin reducing harmful air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions from the nation’s heavy duty engines by establishing model policies in three to four states, voluntary agreements with manufacturers and owners of heavy engine fleets, and the tightening of emissions requirement through federal rulemaking.
