To compel, through litigation in federal court, an end to the extremely high levels of airborne and waterborne mercury discharges from the HoltraChem plant in Orrington, Maine. The suit is also seeking a cleanup of the mercury sediments in the Penobscot River, which is so heavily contaminated that it is among the worst mercury pollution problems in the country.
