To conduct a strategic communications and media campaign to educate the public and policymakers in conjunction with a case now before the Supreme Court. The case, Stenberg v. Carhart, is of potential historic significance because in attempting to ban so-called “partial birth” abortions, the State of Nebraska has written a law that could outlaw nearly all abortion procedures at any stage of pregnancy-thus threatening the cornerstone Roe v. Wade decision-including early medical abortions. This is the first abortion case that the Supreme Court has heard in eight years.
